Hey! Wanna play a new game where we find inconsistencies in the show?
Like when one of the cast is out of character? Or when one (or more) of the cast) acts differently then normal and making you scratch your head?
Like the one where Deb complains about Ray losing his sex drive. Isn't she the one that is "never in the mood"?
Inconsistency - anyone else?

Also: Not the same topic but related:
Did you all see the ep "Boob Job"? Deb mentions to Ray that he went crazy about the mother with the "falsies"
She says that it was "last night". Doesn't she?
It was not last night because Ray had just returned from a week out of town. Should it not have been "last week at the parents thing"?

Just too many to list here. If you're interested, you can find a bunch of them compiled at tvtome.com. Look under "Goofs Guide".

Yupi! Thank you! I appreciate that!
but I am looking for inconsistencies and not bloopers!
I am looking for inconsistent themes. Like when Debra complains about Ray's sex drive when the whole show is based on Ray's lack of sex.
that is what I am after.

I don't really consider those inconsistencies. Obviously the writers are all well aware of that when they write the episodes. Human nature is contradictory and inconsistent, go figure. As for more specific inconsistencies... in "The Game" (season 1), when Robert gives himself 20 seconds to explain why he thinks Ray lied about taking his galoshes, and gives Ray 20 seconds in rebuttal... if you actually count it, Robert spoke for like 40 seconds and Ray got about 10 before he cut off.

I dunno if this qualifies as an inconsistency but how Robert can dump the voluptuously gorgeous Italian babe Stefania in favor of the scrawny, homely Amy is utterly inconceivable to me.

Thorpedo! that is a good one! You are correct! Here is Robert supposedly jealous of Ray and all that he has. And here is Stefania who is way better looking than Debra, abd Robert rejects her? Good one!

The biggest outright inconsistency IMO is in "Meant to Be", when Frank asks Robert "which one (amy, stefania, joanne) has big enough hips to bear your enormous children?" and Robert says "Amy". I think any sane heterosexual male can that tell that Stefania's the one with the hips. Her hourglass shape has no competition with Amy or Joanne. ;D

yeah! Why Robert gave up on her will be an eternal mystery!
Except that Monica is Phil's real wife and I guess she was looking for work!

How about when Ray and Debra were going to get married(The flash back) and Debra introduces Ray to Father Hubley. Meanwhile in another flashback, The mother and Father in law went to Debra's Apartment with Father Hubley, to stop them from having sex. And the Mother in law introduces Father Hubley as there Family's priest. And then when Ray and Jonoviny were delivering futons, Ray had that stupid looking little boys haircut, but later when Raymond was going to ask Debra to marry him, Rays hair was long. And Robert, in the one flashback had the same hair he has today, but had a moustache, But in the one where Ray first met Debra, Robert had sort of long hair. Then I think in one of them, Robert had an afro.

Then Amy's brother was always Peter, but there was that one episode where Ray went to "Amy's brothers comic book store" And it was a different guy. He is never shown again, and never mentioned again.

Oh, and how about when Kevin James was in the show, one season, he was "Kevin" and worked with Ray, and in the next season, he was "Doug" the IPS delivery guy. Remember he delivered a package to Rays house?
