Oddly it sounds like it might be good to me. Hopefully the Peter scenes are kept to a bare minimum.

Err.... It was fairly funny for the first half, but the second half was just BIZARRE. It didn't make any sense. The only thing good seemed to be Debra's very tight brown shirt... ha cha cha!

I thought the show started off great. I agree with you.
But the reactions of the family during the second half of the show was bizarre.
And I too thought Debra looked mahvulos dahhling simply mahvelus!

This episode was just terrible. The only funny moment was when Ray rolled Debra off the bed; I was surprised she didn't rip into Ray like a monkey out of a cupcake ;D. Marie and Robert’s reaction to Ray’s befriendment of Pat (very boring character) was just silly. I hope the writers are not visiting the ELR fan-fiction site and getting show ideas from there. I’d put it in the same category as Peter on the Couch and Cruising with Marie. Grade: C-

You just changed your grade from a C to a C-. You can't do that!

Hehe, I realized my mistake and changed it. Even with a C-, I think I'm being overly generous.

I have to admit I kind of saw Pat's "I think we should cool it" reaction coming, given how quiet she was while Ray ran his mouth off and lectured the rest of the family. Maybe this dud was their tribute to the infamous Seaosn 7.

Yup. I did not understand the reaction of the family.

This episode was just okay. I had no idea that Hank and Pat are Presbyterian. I assumed they were also Catholic. I didn't care for the religious jokes.
Robert chewed off a piece of the puzzle...yuck...lol!
The Ray/Debra scene in the bed was pretty good.

I wish Ray had been gentler with Debra instead of rolling her off the bed.
I thought Debra looked great! Especially when they came home from church and she was wearing the brown skirt and tight blouse! I have never seen her look better in fact!
I thought the family reaction to Ray and Pat's talk was lame and overblown. I though other plots could have developed that would have been funny or even funnier.
I thought the last half was more wierd than funny. O well.
