A few years ago I read an article that Doris Roberts had asked Pierce to be on an episode of ELR, and Pierce agreed that he would eventually get around to doing a guest spot. Obviously that's never materialized and probably never will.
I was actually going to ask Doris about that during the book signing but someone else had already asked a question about Pierce (calling him Bronson... what a dope), so I figured I would ask something a little different.
But if he had done a guest spot, what sort of character would he have been?

O.well! Great question! He could have done lots of things. He could have been a distant relative! He could have been a teacher at the school. He could have been a friend of Roberts on the force. He could have been a friend of Ray's. He could have been an athlete or ex-athlete that Ray writes about. He could have been a tempting new interest for Debra! maybe someone she meets at one of her volunteer organizations or something that gets her motor running and puts thougth in her head!

Would've been funny if the Parkers moved out, bringing joy to Ray until he sees the new neighbor move in (played by Pierce), who is smitten with Debra. And as we all know, Ray Barone despises british people... as seen in "The Children's Book" ;D (although Pierce was born in Ireland, despite his semi-British accent, and now lives in America... go figure!)

Yup! I could go for that!
Ray does not need much to get insanely jealous anyway! LOL

See. I was gonna say one of Debra's boyfriends before Ray. Perhaps Chad who wrote so poetically about her many colored eyeball.

Pierce Brosnan doesn't look like a Chad.... perhaps Chadwick.
