Okay so I was watching 'Jealous Robert" in search of Sam's quotes on voodoo, as well as "What's with Robert" the other day and I came to think... damn, Robert's a lot funnier when he's a single, possibly homosexual man obsessed with besting Raymond.
Ever since getting married to Amy a lot of the jokes fall flat and lose credibility. Now that Rob's married to Amy, has his own place it almost doesn't make sense for the competition with Ray to keep coming up. It was easier to symapthize (and laugh at) the single, dopey Robert who lived at his parents house and was repeatedly accused of being homosexual. ;D
Moreover, and I'm SURE I'm not the only one... there is absolutely no chemistry with Amy and Robert as a 'couple'. Again, I think Robert played better as the guy fearful of commitment because god forbid he should actually get all the things he wants and not know what to do with it.
Okay, that concludes this week's comments. If there's ever a big ELR site they should get me to write the op/ed's muaha.

I like Robert! He gives some of the funniest lines and has the funniest facial expressions as well as the most rythm!

I like him too, I just think his character worked better in the show when he wasn't married.

I have not noticed that much change.
Amy is still a minor player on the show.
Monday night she was almost non existent and Robert was wonderful!
