He obviously has a thing for her and would care for her more than Ray does! LOL this has been brought out in several episodes.

Hey guys, ELRF. It's been awhile, been having some trouble getting on here (again), as well as being incredibly busy with school.
Anyway, I loved 'The Mentor', and a heads up. Matt Roush of TV Guide gave the season finale 'Golf for It' a 10/10 in this weeks issue.
OK, also I was told this episode is great by Monica Horan's sister-in-law. That's right, you heard me, sister-in-law! Kinda exciting right? Her and her family live in my little town of Emmaus, and her daughter goes to my school. My mom met her at work.
Her daughter, Phil and Monica's niece, is going out to see them at their beach house in Malibu in the summer, and Monica and her sister-in-law talk to each other like twice a week. Then she comes into my mom's work and gives her the update, which my mom gives me.
I'll be heading out to LA in season 9 for a taping. AWESOME! I'm gonna get to meet them all. I'm getting the PRODUCTION SCHEDULE, and on top of that Phil Rosenthal's secretary's phone number to set the whole thing up. AHH! Kinda exciting, can't believe it. More later.
Nice to be back!

Ooh! Awesome. I'm very jealous.
I don't know why Sam doesn't go out to every taping. What sort of ELR fan lives 15 minutes from the studio but doesn't go to tapings? ;D Besides, they have free pizza!

I know! I have family and friends who live in California and don't go to tv tapings or any type of red carpet events. Now if I lived in California, I'd be a registered background actor for any show. All of the behind-the-scenes stuff is interesting to me. And tapings would be a Friday night event. You know, call your friends, make the plans, and go to the tapings weekly. Dan, you know we should move out there and try this lifestyle out. ;D ELRF-Awesome! Make sure you let us know how the taping is! Look forward to reading your posts!

This episode is so typical of Ray's callous and inconsiderate attitude towards Deborah. Here hes making a momentous decision that will affect both his and Deborah's life and hes not even telling Deborah about it let alone ask for her opinion before making that decision!
I am just so sick and tired of Ray treating Deborah like his appendix; a "thing" thats not really needed but has to be tolerated because its there. I bet he'd have no problem replacing her with one of his young groupies when shes old and wrinkled and not cute anymore.
Monday's episode really showed thw true color of this scheming character. He pretended to be hurt by his dads indifference to him when he was a kid and acted all mopey, and then took advantage of Deborah's genuine concern for him and extracted sex out of her! Clearly that was a pity sex duty on Deborah's part yet he didn't care.
What a neferius player! He never helps her out with household chores or when Marie's belittling her every action. While Deborah is taking care of the kids and the house, hes playing paper football and eating pizza all day at his office with his beer swiling nincompoop friends probably inventing other insulting names at her expense. His idea of fatherhood ended when her eggs split!
That's all Iam saying now. You people can flame me all you want but I know I am right! Goodbye!

Hilarious commentary by the guest above. Having read many similar comments on various ELR forums, sometimes I wonder if we're watching the same show. With regard to Sam's question, let me ask the first 5 questions. BTW Sam, by "actors" I hope you mean real actors and not just some washout participants from one of those reality TV shows whose fifteen minutes of fame are long up; cause I remember you saying you met one of the rejects from American Idol at your establishment a few months ago. 1. Their initials? 2. Male/Female? 3. Primarily TV or movie actors? 4. Age within + or - 5 Y? 5. Fame in the scale of 1- 10 with 10 being uber-famous a la Russell Crowe ?

To Everybody Loves: It is Debra not Deborah.
We do not know if he got sex out of her. The camera cut away. You are assuming facts not in evidence.
I agree with you (to a point) about Ray.
But do not feel too bad for Debra. She knew what she was getting in marrying Ray.

Excellent point, Dave. If they wanted to imply that they actually had sex, they would've shown the act.

Okay totally more famous than an American Idol, not as famous as lets say Brad Pitt....... 1. Their initials? MW and OE 2. Male/Female? both male 3. Primarily TV or movie actors? They have done both but more movies than TV. An extra clue is one was on a long running popular drama on NBC... 4. Age within + or - 5 Y? Plus 5 and more 5. Fame in the scale of 1- 10 with 10 being uber-famous a la Russell Crowe ? I'd give them a solid 7
