I just read on Donna's site that Brad and Doris are submitting two episodes each for this year's Emmys.
Brad is submitting "The Mentor" and "Golf for it." I find his selection of "The Mentor" rather puzzling considering that episode primarily revolves around Frank. I think "The Crazy Chin" would've been a more appropriate pick.
Doris is submitting "Thank You Notes" and "Liars."
Ray, Patty and Peter haven't made their selections yet. I think they should submit "Party Dress," "Debra at the Lodge," and "The Mentor" respectively.

I read that on her site too. Previously, it said Brad had submitted "The Mentor", but now it says "The Model" instead. I guess that makes more sense because "The Model" was more of a Robert-centered episode.

Yes it was The Model it says now.
That would make more sense.

The show doesn't deserve to win any Emmy's this year. They didn't deserve them last year either (obviously). They should have awarded the show back in season 4 and 5. What is that damn academy thinking?
What the show should send:
Show: 1. Thank You Notes 2. Liars 3. The Ingrate 4. Misery Loves Company 5. Blabbermouths 6. Lateness
Ray: -Party Dress
Patty: -Fun With Debra
Brad: -The Crazy Chin -Security
Doris: -Thank You Notes -Liars
Peter: -The Mentor -Jazz Records

According to Donna's site, Peter did submit The Mentor and Jazz Records. No word yet on what Ray and Patricia are submitting. Also, on EBAY people are already selling For Your Consideration Emmy DVDs for this year.

Yep, I saw those FYC DVD's on ebay. Almost all of them are in new, unopened condition. I'm assuming these FYC's are sent only to Emmy voters. Makes you wonder if they really watch the material sent to them before casting their votes.

I doubt they do. I had a professor last semester for Public Speaking who was on a soap, did commercials, and directed some famous names in movies who is a SAG member and she said its all politics (what isn't though).

Of course it is politics. Everyone knows that. If it was not, ELR would have won many more Emmys
Hey, I just saw "Thank You Notes" again and I think that may be a good one for PH to submit to the Emmys.

The show doesn't deserve to win any Emmy's this year. They didn't deserve them last year either (obviously). Marry me! Belated or not, ELR didn't deserve any credit for their awful season last year and I'm pretty sure Season 8 doesn't stack up to the other top comedies nominated. I'm glad someone agrees with me on that!

I agree the past two seasons of ELR have been uncharacteristically lackluster and not much to brag about, but still..... Like they say, a monkey never thinks her baby is ugly. ;D Besides - please don't attack me now- I just can't stand the other shows ELR normally competes against in the best comedy category.
