I don’t know what that term means either. Anyway, I just read over at Donna’s site that Ray and Phil will be signing copies of "Everybody Loves Raymond: Our Family Album" at Barnes & Noble (Lincoln Triangle 66th Street & Broadway, NYC) on Friday, September 10, 2004 at 1 pm. Dear friends Dan and Lauren, are you guys planning to go to this event? I really enjoyed your lively accounts and pictures from Doris’s book signing last year. How about the same this time also, huh?

Hrrm. I have school, so it'd be cutting it close. To be perfectly honest, I'm not that enthused about ELR anymore to make the effort. If Lauren really wants to go I might venture out.

I'd love to go but unfortunately the signing falls during the first week of school and I have my first tennis class for school real early the next morning. By the way, I thought the book comes out on the 14th? Man, it'd be cool to go! Now I'm cranky!

It looks like you guys won't be going to the book signing on Friday. I know you're not as obsessed with ELR as you used to (same here), but I wouldn't pass up the chance to meet Ray the man himself, take pictures and get the book autpgraphed. Besides, it's just the beginning of the semester. What important stuff could they be teaching this early? Yeah Lauren, the official release date of the book is Sep 14. Ray's gonna be in the NYC area this week promoting the ELR book (and his movie I guess); that's why I think he decided to squeeze in a book signing event while he's in NYC by releasing the book early there. He's gonna be a guest on Letterman's show on Sep 9. Also, they have an episode to tape next week in LA.
